Life becomes newly fresh as the New Year unfurls taking root at our doorstep cleansing our souls with a sense of perky nourishment, like a newfound energy, tulip blooms bring in the spring. It is a time to reflect on this past year. As we walk into 2012 with pristine footsteps a clear mind ready to conquer the goals we’ve set for ourselves (no pressure or disappointment here) and everything else that surrounds us in daily life, or maybe capture that one magical word or theme to carry close and become more mindful of through out the year.
On June 10, 2008, my life had transformed forever and today I gratefully accept that time as a blessed gift.
Kris of Crazy Sexy Life posted an article, “10 Things I Learned from People Who Survive Cancer” written by, Lissa Rankin MD. The article carries a powerful message that resonates a reminder of how life can often be unfair, cut short in a fleeting glimpse, and not be a waste.
I don’t make resolutions any more (though I am working on #8 #10 mentioned in the above article), I choose to live simple be present, open my eyes and heart wide, and walk softly in peace with what is in the moment in 2012!
I wish for you a blessed new year filled with much love, health and happiness!
Stay well my friend!
