I wandered around Old Orchard Beach, Maine last Friday in and out of the shops I came across a small bookstore where these two books grabbed my attention.
Today I finished reading, “Coming into My Own and Removing the Mask,” by Marcia Brevard Wynn. A powerfully enlightening journey of self-reflection and introspection toward finding and appreciating ones true self. I couldn’t put this book down I was totally absorbed.
“New York City a State of Mind,” by Bruno Moyen. Photography, tantalizing glimpses of the city. I love the cover with the Statue of Liberty and it’s small size of 5 1/2 x 9 1/2.
For a little fun on the creative side of the day I played around with a program called Poladroid. It’s pretty neat, when you open the program a cute little icon of a Polaroid camera pops on your screen and you drag a photo file over the camera and it converts with a Polaroid effect. Pretty cool!
